◉ Plant a Tree · The Standing
Plant a native tree, register it in the app, get approved. You receive an instant reward from the Planting Pool — then 15% of every verification your tree survives. No end date. No cap.
The planting reward comes from the current Planting Pool — it changes as the network grows. The planter's share is 15% of the verification reward, per verification, for as long as each tree stands.
All registration happens in the app. This page prepares you for what to expect — what qualifies, what gets checked, and what the economic relationship with your tree looks like from the moment of approval forward.
Any location works — your property, community land, reforestation areas. The tree must be a native, large-canopy species from the eligible list. A decorative shrub does not qualify. Only species that do something meaningful to the land, the water, the local ecosystem — over decades.
Open the app, submit your planting: GPS coordinates, species, photo evidence. The submission goes to review. Approved plantings are added to the public Tree Map and receive the planting reward immediately from the Pool.
Every time a valid verification of your tree is approved — by you or anyone else — you automatically earn 15% of the verification reward as the planter's permanent share — currently ◉15. No action required on your end. The economic relationship has no scheduled end.
If you verify your own tree, you collect both shares: ◉80 as verifier + ◉15 as planter = ◉95 of the ◉100 base reward.
Most planting programs pay once and move on. The Standing treats every planting as the start of a long-term economic relationship. The more the tree is verified — by you or by others — the more you earn from it.
Only species that generate long-term ecological impact qualify. The list is curated by region — the same tree in different biomes may or may not qualify depending on its native range. Check the full catalog before planting.
Species not on the list? Submit a request — the catalog expands as verification capacity grows in new regions.
Every approved tree is public — location, species, planting date, full verification history. You plant it once. The system tracks it permanently.
