What Ring Is

Ring is not minted by a company decision.
It is mined through proof of survival — the verified confirmation that a real tree is still alive.

Ring functions as a medium of exchange at partner stores and a reward unit for verified environmental actions.

Function 01
Medium of exchange
Pay at partner stores. Receive Ring as cashback. Use it wherever Ring is accepted — across the entire partner network.
Function 02
Reward unit
Ring is what the system issues when a verification is confirmed. It is the unit through which environmental participation becomes economic value.
How Ring Circulates

Three ways
Ring moves

Ring is not a static asset. It circulates continuously through economic activity, planting, and verification — each loop reinforcing the others.

01 — Payments
Pay. Get cashback. Fund planting.
When you pay at partner stores, you receive 1–15% cashback in Ring. Simultaneously, 1% of every transaction is automatically directed to the Planting Pool — no extra step required.

02 — Planting rewards
Plant a tree. Earn from the pool.
Approved trees receive a one-time Ring reward funded by the Planting Pool. The amount is calculated at the moment of approval — directly tied to what the system has actually accumulated from real payments.

03 — Verification mining
Verify a tree. Mine Ring.
Every valid verification mines Ring automatically — split between verifier, planter, and oracle. This is the primary emission mechanism. Ring is born from someone doing the work of checking.

Issuance Model

How Ring
is mined

Every valid verification approved by the system generates 100 Ring (current base reward), distributed automatically by protocol in the following split:

The planter receives their share every single time anyone verifies their tree — not just once. The longer the tree lives, the more verification cycles occur, the more the planter earns.

Self-verification
If the planter submits the verification themselves, they collect both the verifier and planter shares: 95 Ring total — 80 + 15 — for that verification event.

and verifications confirming a tree is no longer standing.

Emission Control

Scarcity tied
to living forest

Verification rewards follow a halving structure — every time the system reaches a pre-calculated number of valid verifications, the base reward reduces by half.

That threshold is not arbitrary. It is calculated from the state of the living forest at the start of each epoch.

There is no other digital asset whose emission schedule is governed by the biological state of organisms in the real world.

What blockchain
actually does here

Ring exists on blockchain. This is not a marketing claim — it has a specific practical consequence that matters for this system in particular.

Every planting registration, every verification event, every Ring distribution is recorded permanently and cannot be altered. Not by The Standing. Not by anyone.

📍
Every tree has a permanent record. Its planting event, location, species, and every verification ever submitted — all on-chain. No one can delete a tree's history or edit what was recorded.
Every Ring traces back to a specific event. The planting or verification that generated it is part of its history. Ring is not issued in the abstract — it is mined from real actions.
⚖️
Issuance follows programmed rules. No single participant — including The Standing — can create additional Ring outside the protocol. The formula is fixed and public.
🔍
Anyone can verify anything. Balances, distributions, verification counts, halving progress. The system is open to inspection by anyone, at any time, without permission.
Important clarification

Ring is a utility asset — not equity, not a share, not a claim on profits. It works inside the ecosystem. What it does there is exactly what this page describes. Nothing more, nothing less.

Its market price is determined by supply and demand in open markets and by usage within the ecosystem. The Standing does not guarantee price behavior. Participation is voluntary.

Every Ring mined
is proof something survived.

Ring doesn't exist because someone decided to create it. It exists because a tree was confirmed still standing — and someone went to check.
