How It Works

All submission happens in the app. This page explains what to bring, what to do on site, and what happens after you submit. The process is the same whether the tree is alive or dead.

Find a tree
with an open window.

Open the Tree Map and filter by "open for verification." Every tree listed has a window open and is waiting for a valid submission. The map shows location, species, and when the window opened.

Step 02

Visit the location.
Confirm what you find.

Go to the registered GPS coordinates. Your location is confirmed automatically by the app. What you find there — alive or not — is what you report. Both outcomes are valid.

A standing tree and a dead tree are both valid verifications. The map needs to reflect reality — confirming a tree is gone is as valuable as confirming it stands.

Step 03

Photograph it.
Submit via app.

Take clear photos through the app. The submission requires visual evidence of the current state and geolocation confirmation. The app guides you through what's required before you leave the site.

Step 04

Get approved.
Earn Ring.

Valid submissions are reviewed and approved. On approval, 80% of the verification reward goes directly to you. The remaining 20% distributes automatically to the planter and the oracle.
