What verification is

Confirming what
actually exists.

Verification is the process of confirming the current condition of a registered tree: whether it is alive and standing, or whether it is no longer there.

It requires a visit to the registered location, clear visual evidence of the tree's condition, and geolocation confirmation through the app. The Standing handles the rest.

Visit the tree's registered location. Take clear visual evidence of its current condition — whether standing or not.

Submit
Submit the evidence through the app with geolocation confirmation. Everything is recorded permanently to the tree's history.

Result
The oracle reviews and approves the submission. The tree's status on the Tree Map is updated. The window closes.
Both outcomes are valid. A dead tree confirmed dead is accurate information — and the map needs accurate information. Both are rewarded.

Tree registered and approved
The tree receives a unique ID and appears on the public Tree Map.
Month 6
Verification window opens
Anyone can submit valid proof — alive or gone. Window stays open until a valid submission is received.

Reward distributed automatically: 80% verifier / 15% planter / 5% oracle.

The cycle repeats for as long as the tree remains in the system.

02 — Who can verify

Anyone who can
reach the tree.

Verification is open and distributed. The original planter, other participants, or any person who can reach the tree's registered location can submit a verification — as long as the six-month window is open.

There is no assignment. No queue. The first valid submission during an open window closes that window and mines the reward. The next window opens automatically six months later.

03 — What verification mines

The reward is
distributed automatically.

Every valid verification approved by the system mines Rings, split automatically between the three participants. No claim required. No manual distribution.

The base reward is ◉100 per valid verification in the current epoch. This amount follows a halving structure — as the network of verified living trees grows, Ring becomes progressively scarcer.

If you planted the tree and verify it yourself, you collect both shares: 80% as verifier + 15% as planter = 95% of the mining reward for that verification.
What happens after

Every verification
starts the next one.

A verified tree does not leave the system. A completed verification closes the current window and opens the next one six months later — indefinitely, for as long as the tree remains registered.

Each ring mined against a tree is a permanent record on the blockchain. Every one is proof something survived another cycle.
